The back of the LP jacket is blank. I know that these both were done at the same time in summer 1955 and sold at church in the St. Paul area. One Christmas and one Mass. I didn’t know there was another one so the one I saw on your website was a surprise.
Fr. Missia was our parish priest in St. Paul and died in a car wreck soon after these records were pressed.
I like your blog. It was fun looking through and remembering all the bands from this area from the 60’s. I grew up on that stuff.
I'm not entirely sure where this fits in with the Kay Bank listing. For example, each side has its own number so that goes against almost all of the other records listed. See Kay Bank 140. Same front cover was used for that also. Many thanks to Edward Gergen for the label shots and information.

Note KB number is different between this and North Star 2001. Also A and B sides alternate. The issue number suggests a 1957 release, so perhaps it was simply remastered for 45rpm. Or it’s simply a numbering error. And ... was this issued as SOMA 1027?) A side states “Casey’s Melody” which is Casey Aslakson, so perhaps this is a different take. Casey originally recorded this for Victor Records in 1931.
